What can I say about “Bangkok Dangerous”? Well first off, I am not much of an action person so I know little about anything action, but from what I’ve seen in this movie, “Bangkok Dangerous” is better than I had expected, I guess it’s all because Chakrit is in it.
Okay, so the movie is manly about Nicolas Cage’s character, but Chakrit’s character also had a big part in it. Chakrit’s accent was terrible, I know he has better English than that, and to be honest I could hear him working hard on his accent at times. Sometimes if you listen carefully you notice that those accents had been forced which I thought he did a great job with the terrible accents.
Nicolas Cage’s character (I don’t remember his name since to me he wasn’t important) is an assassin who took a job in Bangkok Thailand. He needed a messenger so he decided to hire Kong (Chakrit). When Kong figured out what Nicolas Cage was hiring him for he decided that he wanted to learn how to be an assassin as well which Nicolas Cage agreed to. One of Nicolas Cage’s rules was to not take interest in people but ended up falling in love with a mute pharmacist.
Chakrit’s character ends up falling in love with Aom, the club dancer who is the messenger for the rai. I am actually trying to figure out who this girl is. Sometimes she looks like Tangmo and sometimes she doesn’t which I know she isn’t Tangmo, but I can’t figure out who she is. I am positive I’ve seen this girl in few series before.
Anyways, Nicolas Cage’s last job was to kill a government official who all of Thailand loves and adore. Everything wrong because he was a government official and blah blah blah, the rai who hired Nicolas Cage tried to kill him by capturing Aom and Kong to set a trap. Nicolas Cage went to save Kong, and blah blah blah, at the end Nicolas Cage gunned himself and the rai which makes Chakrit the p’ek since he was the survivor. Ahahaha
Throughout the whole movie, I could not take my eyes off of Chakrit’s beautiful lushes lips! Tehehe. I thought Chakrit looks beautifully handsome in this movie and he did a great job portraying his character. Well maybe after this movie, we might be able to see him again on the American silver screen.
Unlike most remakes from Asian movies this movie did not disappoint me; it was welled casted and well acted. I found some bits and pieces of a little comedy in this movie as well, and I am a sucker for comedy and of course on the other note, this movie is filled with a lot of actions and Chakrit’s hotness. Tehehe. Over all I gave this movie a 9 out of 10 mainly because Chakrit is in it, honestly if he wasn’t in it, I wouldn’t care much for it.
Now I am debating if I should watch the original one…
