This was the assignment that got me stressing for the past few weeks. Glad I got this assignment done and over with, yes including critique! Now I just need to worry about the grade. Gosh, lets hope I get a deserving grade.
I had a crazy story about this assignment that had gotten me so stress out about. It’s crazy how we got 5 weeks to complete this, but things didn’t go as planed and i had to keep looking for a good location to shoot. I finally got the location needed, but I ran out of time to shoot for more so I kept with what I got. How horrible!!! Then the day I started working on it, i swear the pictures looks good to me, but then a teacher assistance of ours kept telling me to add more magenta to the picture cause she sees a green color cast. Ahh the picture was horrible, so when John the other teacher assistance came, I showed him the picture and warned him about it. ahahaa. I wasted a whole box of expensive printing paper and it was all wrong. So John told me to start from the beginning which I did, and only took about 6 pages to finally get it right. So of course, I was super pissed about it. The paper cost me almost 40 bucks for 60 sheets, my gosh, it’s crazy!! So yes, i wasted almost 60 sheet on nothing!! But at the end of the day I finished what I was aiming for. Whew.
That was the story! There is actually more to the story, but I am just keeping it short. ahahahahaha
The contact sheets of my final shoots

and here are the ones that were picked to print for my final four

Can you not tell on screen before you print them? That’s a lot of paper, including ink to be wasted, I guess you live and learn. Is this the set that you were complaining about needing some sun?
You can see a bit on screen, but then it’s very hard to tell and it also depends if your printer and monitor is collaborated. ANd on screen you can’t really tell if there is colorcast or not. I know it does waste a lot of paper and ink. LOL this is the assignment that I was complaining about the sun. If only I had good sun, these pictures would turn out a bit better.
