my review: Body # 19

I had this movie sitting on my laptop for some times now and was finally able to open this movie up and watch it with the sisters. My first intention of this movie was, something I’ll be extremely scared of, a movie that I would probably have nightmares after watching. But it was totally different from what I had expected. But don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy the movie.

“Body # 19” is a Thai horror movie (I’ve been watching way too many horror movies when horror is not much my genre since I hate the aftermath)  starring Pae Arak Amornsupasiri as Chonlasit (Chon),  Pang Ornjira Lamwilai as Ae, Kritteera Inpornwijit as Usa, Patharawarin Timkul as Dararai and the doctor dude, I have no idea what his real name is as Dr. Suthee.

This movie starts with a concert of this sweet yet sad love song, I must say, I like the song, but after the movie, I am not sure if I should like the song or not. Anyways, Chon moved in to stay with his sister, he was an engineering student, but he started to have weird repeating dreams and what not. An accident happened and then he was taken to the hospital to find that the doctor wanted him to see a psychiatrist, Dr. Usa. Chon went to see Dr. Usa because his sister Ae had made him. Dr. Usa decided to take Chon’s case into her own hand and started to find this Dararai lady that Chon had mentioned during his session with Dr. Usa.

Strange things started to happen and two people who had helped Dr. Usa get closer to Dararai died and soon she started to figure out what was going on. Chon’s case was something bigger than what Dr. Usa had thought and she had also found out that her husband Dr. Suthee too was connected in this whole ordeal with Chon’s case.

When I first watched this movie, I was a bit bored in the very beginning, but as I went on further I enjoyed the suspense in the movie and all that was going on. I have to say, it was not as scary as I had though, I did jumped a few time, but it was nothing that I would truly be scared about. I thought the “ghost” was not a bit scary at all, well she was somewhat freaky at times, but often time when I saw her, I was not scared of her. This ghost had a big cut on her stomach area and is naked the whole time; don’t worry the most you see is her breast and her cut out stomach, nothing else that is too rated. I thought it was scary with the baby that Chon kept seeing. And the cat, looks very fake but very scary at the same time.

I thought some of the effects where a bit fake, you can tell few of it was computer generated, especially the cat, but it worked well. Pae did a great job playing Chon, he was very convincing, and he did great playing the scared out Chon and the Chon who is going crazy.  Pang was great playing Ae, she’s as lovely as always although I am not a fan of hers, in fact I don’t think I had ever paid much attention to any of the lakorn she was in. Kritteera had to be my favorite, she was very pretty and I thought she was great playing Dr. Usa, the main person who had been finding the answer to this case.

I would give this movie a hummmm. 8 out of 10, I enjoyed the suspense and I enjoyed this movie much, the only problem was some of the effect, I was a bit skeptical with the effect since you can totally tell some of them is computer generated, but I do rather like the song a lot. The ending of the movie gave me chills down my spine when the ghost of Dararai finally “forgive” and “released” Suthee from her anger, the only thing I can think of was OUCH!!!! Don’t want to spoil it, but the real ending came right after the ending after the first credit rolled in for a few second then the real ending came on, I was like WOW, amazed by the way they ended the movie.

movie review:Ghost Mother

I took the time to watch “Ghost Mother” starring Oil and Aump today, and hummm what can I say? I am not much of a horror flick type of person, but then who could resist not watching Oil on screen? When it comes to my hotties, I have to take the time to watch it even when I hate the type of movies. Ahaha. But I gotta say it wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be, in fact, I wasn’t a bit scared at all.

I am not a big fan of Aump, I guess I was just never really fond of her but I was able to watch this movie and thought she did a great job as Nam. Aump actually made a pretty convincing ghost as well.

Well this movie is about Chai a police captain who is not able to get over an accident that had happen with a killing and Nam an aunt who was left taking care of her brothers 3 kids after he was brutally murdered. Nam was then also murdered because she was believed to know her brother’s secret. Nam’s brother was actually an undercover cop who worked under Chai and was on a mission to knock some bad guys out of the way, but then before that happened he was murdered.

When Nam was murdered her spirit came back to take care of her brother’s 2 children. Chai was also trying to find out about Nam’s brother’s death as things started happening and he then learn that Nam had been dead and she was seeking for his help.

I was surprised at the time length of this movie, instead of the normal 2 or so hours, it was only an hour and 30 minute duration. The movie went straight to the point without wasting any time on any useless things as many things were unfolding. I didn’t see any potholes in the movies nor did I saw any pointless information.  Everyone played their part in a convincing way, of course, they have to, they are actors and actresses. Focus did a great job playing Prae, she was very cute as well. Aump was a great ghost, like my friend Trent had said, a very pretty ghost at that. Oil was handsome as he always  is and played captain Chai greatly.

Over all I would give this movie 8/10. It wasn’t a scary horror film, but it was filled with action pack and geeze, there were some parts that tickle my stomach, like the gruesome parts, I am not a fan of blood and gruel, it sick me out (thus I refuse to watch any of the SAW movies) and there were a few parts that were bloody and gruesome, at least to me they were.

He’s officially off the market!

552000008291603.jpg picture by mozemoua

I guess that is it! Tik is now officially married! Oh poor us! I guess he’s officially off the market now, Sadness! Thanks to Lyn of Iheartlakorn, she was nice enough to keep us all updated on Tik’s wedding and if it was going to happen this year. He sure did get married the day he said he was. What now? Are we supposed to move onto the next most eligible P’ek? If so, Aum is on my number one list now. LOL.

Wow after all these years of staying true and waiting for his latest lakorn to air, he’s off the market now, does that mean he’ll also stop making lakorns? I hope not. We can still drool over him if he does not stop making lakorn. I sure am still going to look forward to any new and upcoming lakorn if ever he takes a p’ek role.

It’s so hard to believe Tik is now married! I mean, we were never aware of Tik having a girlfriend, nonetheless for the last 5 years. Aiyo! Guess us fans will just have to get over him and move onto the next p’ek.

Thanks to Lyn and manager.co/th for the pictures.

I am officially heart broken!!!

All thanks to Lyn of Iheartlakorns, I had been officially heart broken and super late at it too. I had been MIA in lyn’s blog for quite some time now and finally was able to find the time to read her lakorn blog, ofcourse it was my normal routine, read and then reply. I came across her blog stating that my super handsome p’ek TIK Jesadaporn Pholdee is getting marry!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh.. TIK?? Why my handsome TIK? I was hoping for my chance with him (LOL if he was to ever read this, he’ll freak out!!). Apparently he had been dating his HI-SO girlfriend Peach Sitamon Taengsuwan for the last 5 years, dude, where had I been? Why was I never aware of it? I am super sad!! I swear I thought he was still SINGLE and waiting for me (LOL). I swear last I heard Tik was denying having a girlfriend and no one had ever said a word about him having one, and he had been doing a darn good job keep away from media, of course the dude is always busy working in the mountains filming his “navigator” show. And I remember reading on his fan website Navigator (the international portion) he was single. Ahh I am so heart broken!

picture taken from Lyn’s blog and off of google

Okay on a serious note, I am very happy for him. He’s finally found that love of his life! Dude TIK must have broken so many hearts by getting married. It’s funny how when I read Lyn’s blog, after reading the title “CONFIRM TIK IS GETTING MARRIED” my heart dropped but as a hopeful fan I was hoping for a “SIKE, TIK ISN’T GETTING MARRIED HE IS STILL SINGLE, BUT HE’LL BE IN A LAKORN AS A RICH, POWERFUL AND HANDSOME P’EK WHO’LL MARRY HIS N’EK” ohh how I was disappointed. LOL

Man this woman is lucky to be marrying our most handsome P’ek Tik. Congrats to the happy couple!!

Well one handsome p’ek (Tik) is off the market, at least I still got handsome Aum to dream and hope to marry. LOL Oh and I can’t forget Rome either. Ahahaha. But man my all time favorite is now off the market!

Let’s hope to see lots and lots of pictures of Tik and his wedding.

(Whew it’s been a while since I’ve blogged about anything Thai)

The Fatality

Cover is from HMB

As always I got a hold of this Thai horror film and decided that I should do a individual review on it. Boy I’ve been doing reviews on a lot of movies. Anyways, Moze (Mo-Z… ehehe a lot of people think it’s pronounced MOZE) isn’t so great when it comes to horror films. Horror films and I don’t get along to well. I always have to find a very very good reason to watch a horror film, but then Laj Siab and I do movie review for HMB every weekend so this was a pick of the movie we wanted to review on.

Blah I’ll do my individual review here and then later when she call me I’ll record our audio review. Ahaha, I do t that often anyways. I guess it’s another way to keep my blog with different topics and category.
Okay… enough with my gibberish and here is the review…

As I’ve stated above, horror films and I are almost enemies, but then I pulled myself together and watched this movie, “The Fatality”. I believe it’s a Thai film with Chinese cast. I thought this movie was very confusing at first; I was left confusing as to what was going on and what not. Throughout the first half of the movie I felt like a part of the movie was missing and it was a bit slow to my liking. It wasn’t until towards the end that I finally understood what exactly was going on. It was very “different” and very “weird” for me. I was confused and felt lost as I watched the movie wondering to myself “umm okay? What exactly is going on?” Finally like the last 30 min of the film (the movie was only an hour and 35 minutes long) I understood what was happening and going on. I thought it was weird how ghost were just following him and there was nothing from the beginning of the movie to explain it why.

The acting was great, I swear the girl (the only girl in the movie, not sure if you’ll consider her a n’ek or n’rai) looks like Jasmine from Oum Ruk (Chain of Love, starring Ann and Ken, if anyone knows if it’s her let me know, cause it’s bothering me LOL). Everyone did an awesome job in this movie switching from Chinese to Thai and all the cast were great at portraying their characters.

I thought this movie left some potholes, I hate potholes. I don’t know why Assanee wants to kill his wife, well we do know that she cheated on him, but then it was weird also because his co-workers think he’s a great person and his wife despise him. Is it all because all she wanted was the money she can inherit if he dies? I just wish they could had made it a 2 hour long movie and explain it in more details, after all the movie was only 1 hour and 35 min, they could had expanded on some part of the story. Like the relationship between Nukun and Assanee so we can fully understand why their loving relationship became so deadly and why were they trying to kill each other. I guess it really is because she was cheating and she wanted his money. And the reason why Assanee ends up at the hospital, it would be nice if they were to explain that also.

I thought the title shouldn’t had been called “The Fatality” but maybe a different title like “Death is amongst us” or “who can determine death” LOL.. I don’t see how this title matches the movie.

Over all I give this movie a hummmmmm 8/10. I guess people who enjoy mystery and horror will enjoy this movie. Since horror is my most hated genre I didn’t find much joy in it. Lol. Ohhh and next week, it’s my pick on movies and I’ll be reviewing “Haunted Drum” starting Kade and Noon.. ahahaah I am such a hypocrite, I just finished saying I hate horror films but my pick for the next HMB movie review is a horror film. LOL

Queen Langkasuka, my review

So I was able to get my hands on the Thai movie “Queen Langkasuka” starring Anadan and with special guest TIK. Humm… What can I say about this movie? First off I am not much of an action person. I am more of a romantic or comedy person. But anyways, I have to say, Tik was extremely handsome in this movie, ahh, he is always handsome in every movie he is casted in.

Okay, so I confess, truth be told, the main reason I decided to watch this movie was because my handsome p’ek Tik who was a special guest. Besides that I wouldn’t had watched the movie.

So my thoughts about this movie… hum, it was a bit confusing!! To me at least, so much was going on that I was honestly lost half of the time. I guess I was too busy drooling at Tik while watching the movie, although he only has few little scenes. It was worth staring at him. But then again, I found this movie a bit confusing. The action scenes were good and the quality was great. Tik was hot and Anandan was good. Everyone acted out greatly… Man, I was hoping to see TIk half naked just like Anandan, too bad he was fully clothed.

Honestly I really don’t know what to say about this movie, besides Tik. Ahh.. okay I guess I should had never started this review. I guess I just wanted to talk about Tik since I haven’t seen any of his lakorns or movies as of late. Besides this was the newest one of him I can get my hands on. Now I want to watch his “Deep in the Jungle” movie.

Okay, okay, okay… I guess people who enjoy action will like this movie, but because I am not much of an action person I’ll give this movie an OKAY.

My review on the movie “PLOY”

Ploy movie poster.jpg

Oka so over the weekend I watch that Thai movie called “Ploy”, to be honest the movie left me dumbfounded. Throughout the movie I just didn’t see an actual plot or a reason to the movie; it seemed to be a total mess. It wasn’t until I had read the purpose of the story when I was able to determine the “plot” of the movie.

What the heck was the purpose of Ananda and Porntip’s character? There were no reasons for their characters at all. Neither of them had a line to say. They were both weird and then all the sudden they just started to have sex throughout the movie. I was like WTF was all that about? Were they only trying to fill up scenes into a movie to get viewers to watch hot exotic sex? Good gosh. The only thing we know about Ananda is that he’s the hotel’s bar tender, and Porntip is the hotel’s cleaning maid. Umm okay, so she stole a suite, but it in a hotel room, Ananda decides to walk into that room and the Porntip got scared and just started having sex with him, okay WTF was that all about? SOO pointless…

As for Lalita’s character, I was like uhhh, WTF? Okay so I guess she’s a drunk and a druggie? Who would go into a stranger’s house, DUHH honey, he won’t have any good intention towards you, and he’s going to drug you and rape you dear. Does she not have any sense at all? I mean really.

Pornwut’s character was somewhat a bit odd. It’s okay to talk to strangers, but really she doesn’t look like a decent girl who seems to be telling the truth. Dude was weird.

Apinya was beautiful, but her character was a bit weird and ghostly. I mean who really on the earth of their mind would walk into a man’s hotel room and expect to be save, a man she doesn’t even know. Good thing he was a nice person to not do anything to her and his wife was also there. And lying on the same bed with that man to talk after his wife got angry and took off cause of her? Really now, so not realistic. What was the purpose of Ploy’s character? To help the two couple realized that they were having issue?

The only other thing I know about this movie was, Lalita and Pornwut were having issue about their wedding and both are questioning each other’s feelings. Okay?  Okay so again, I was left dumbfounded after watching this movie. Anyone got any insight for me?

Botun Gleep Sood Tai ends at episode 13

Pictures taken from lyn’s blog.

Botun Gleep Sood Tai came to an end this past Monday November 3rd. All I have to say about this drama is that it was so very good and the ending was perfect, I smiled through out the ending and is still very happy about the ending. At the end just about everyone found their happiness and get what they deserves, all hearts were reconciled all problems were solved, nothing was left hanging. I was very satisfied with the ending and this ending was nothing like the typical lakorn endings.

I felt so bad for Ah-La at then end. Ah-Pong came back to reconciled with his father after getting a call from his mother that his father wasn’t doing to well, but he never reconciled with Ah-La, I wish he would of came back for her too instead of just for his father. I know that their problem was done and dealt with but I just wish Ah-Pong would of snapped out of his gayness and be a good father to his two children and a husband to his wife, not a wife to his gay lover.

Ah-Jo is now paralyzed after being shot by his wife for cheating on her. He finally got what he deserves although it is a little harsh, but hey if it was any other way, he might not have learned anything. I wish something would have happened to Ah-Jo’s wife so she’ll learn not to be such a mean as you know what. Man that lady is one evil thing. At least Ah-Jo finally asked for forgiveness to his father and brother Ah-Joo.

Ah-Jiw ends up staying in jail to pay for his mistakes. Gosh even when he was in jail he was still all tough, goodness, I don’t think this guy will ever learn.

Ah-Joo’s father FINALLY found out the truth about Ah-Joo and was so very ashamed of himself for never seeing that Ah-Joo was a grateful son. It was very sad when Ah-Joo finally found his father after his father ran away for being shameful of himself. I ended up having some tears in my eyes watching that part.

Ah-Na and Ah-Long finally got together and married at the end of the lakorn. It’s funny how they are holding hands but are still very shy with each other. Weird, but very cute at the same time.

It’s so cute how Ah-Joo asked Ah-Yong to marry him. They are so very childish and yet so very cute. I love the way he had asked her to marry him, it was so adorable it kept me smiling throughout the entire scene.

At then end Ah-Joo finally got what he had always wanted, a family he can truly call a family with parents who loves him, a brother who actually spoke nice to him, a best friend who has always been by his side, a beautiful wife, a chain of restaurant and an award for having the best novel. I love the fact that this lakorn didn’t have the typical lakorn endings with the n’ek and p’ek standing next to the beach trying to confess their love for each other or the n’ek getting tricked by the p’ek or her friends to forgive the p’ek.

I would recommend this lakorn to anyone. I love the story line every bits and pieces about this lakorn was great. I do admit there were times I wish I can just knock Ah-Joo on the head for being too kind, but as they say, karma will pay off thus it did, at the end Ah-Joo got all he wanted verses the people who had been doing wrong through out the lakorn.

My take on Botun Gleep Sood Tai episodes 12 and 13

Pictures were stolen from SW since Lyn’s site is down I can’t steal from her. ahahhaa

Botun Gleep Sood Tai is getting so good, to bad it is ending on Monday at episode 13. I hate to see the Lakorn end so soon. I wasn’t able to finish the rest of episode 12 but by this Saturday or maybe Sunday I should be able to catch up with all of episode 12.

Episode 11 and 12 was so very good. I even cried, yes, I even cried watching episode 12 and 13. I knew this lakorn was going to be a tear jerker and I was so right. So much had happened in these two episodes.

I was so happy when Ah-Pong’s parents found out about his gayness. Why was I happy, well because I am happy that after deceiving his wife who has given him a second chance, his parents and his children he was finally caught. I hated the fact that he was so selfish that he used his wife and children’s to shield him from his gayness. If he wasn’t so selfish, maybe I wouldn’t of been so angry with him, but because he was extremely selfish I was happy to see what he received from his father. I even replayed the part he was beaten up by his farther couple of times to satisfy myself. Ahaha, I know I can be so mean. It was classic when he had his good beat down from his father.

Poor Dala, I feel so bad for her. I wish Ah-Pong wasn’t such a gayness and would forget all about Narin and continue to love and stay with Dala and their children’s. She is too kind in this drama; I wish she would have given Ah-Pong a good slap and then leave him for good. She deserves much more than a gayness husband.

I was so mad when he told Ah-La that he loves her. Gosh, if he loves her so much he wouldn’t have picked his gayness over her, he would have let Narin go and live a happy life with his family. The dude has two children, my gosh, so selfish of him. I was so mad when he told Ah-La that he loves her, dude is so selfish, he wants to love Narin, but he also wants DaLa. That bastard. Don’t tell the girl you love her and then go with someone else!

Ah-Mei (Ah-Joo’s mother) is so cute. I just love her reaction towards Ah-Joo when she found out about Ah-Joo’s double life. I had such a grand smile when I saw this part. I am glad that she is so support of Ah-Joo regardless.

In Ah-Joo’s father’s face!!!!!!!!!! About time he gets what he deserves! Now he finally knows how ungrateful his two favorite sons are. He finally got them slap it right into his face. I feel so sad for the old man, but at the same time, I was a bit excited. He needed that. Now he finally learns that his ungrateful son is in fact the best son he’ll ever have.

I can’t believe he has such bad reactions towards Ah-Joo. Gosh, when he found out that the Canal House belongs to Ah-Joo his first reaction was Ah-Joo was doing illegal jobs, gosh, can he not ever think of something good towards Ah-Joo. I am glad he finally found out that his favorite book was writing by his hated son. I was glad to see that he had a heart after all. He finally was able to smile towards Ah-Joo, if only he wouldn’t be so stubborn and express his love to Ah-Joo openly.

I love Ah-Nai. Thanks to him everything is finally out between Ah-Nai’s double lives hidden from his parents. Ah-Nai is such a sweetheart and such a handsome guy too.

Finally those two ungrateful son’s finally got what they deserve and yet they were still so mean and said some harsh words to their own father who has given them everything and anything, who has sacrifice all he can for their well being. I hate people like that, I am glad karma is finally reaching them.

Poor stubborn Ah-Yong, she is endlessly stubborn but at the same time very cute also. Ahahaha, the girl holds grudges for ever. Now she and Ah-Joo are back at square one, just like when he first moved into the Opera House. I can’t wait what is to come of them next. The almost kissed scene at episode 12 was so cheesy but so very wonderful, the whole time, I was so happy to see them almost kiss. I was hoping they would actually lock lips, but we all know they don’t do that in Thai Lakorns but an almost was good enough since that’s all we’ll get.

The last episode will air on this Monday so I can’t wait see what will become of Dala and Ah-Pong although we’ve already know what the outcome is already. Let’s see how Ah-Na and Ah-Long’s boring story will turn out to be like and how our wonderful Ah-Yong will finally give in and forgive our handsome Ah-Joo.

My take on Botun Gleep Sood Tai episodes 9 and 10

Pictures were taken from Lyn’s blog.

Oh these two episodes were very sweet yet very irritating. There were some awesome scenes and some scenes that I wish I was there to slap some faces. I know it’s only a lakorn, but when you are so into the lakorn it just makes you wish you can really do something and straighten out the stupid characters. Oh how I wish I can slap some characters.

Ah-Joo’s dad is so freaken stupid. First he gets bitched at by his favorite son’s wife, then he get kicked out of his favorite son’s office yet he still blames Ah-Joo about it all. So stupid. He needs to give Ah-Joo and chance instead of always assuming the worst for Ah-Joo and think his two favorite songs are the best.

Grr, I hate that Sai Dechia guy! He pisses me off. He is such an ass, I wish I can just go over there and kick his freaken ass. Really, that’s how much I hate him. He deserves to die. (I know I can be so mean sometimes). He is a freaken sissy too. He is a dirty back biting down, oh how I can bash on him all day if I want to.

I am just feeling sorry for Ah-Long. Grrr, he irritates me so much as well. I like him because he is such a grateful person and whatnot, but his character just makes me pity him so very badly, that’s all I really feel for Ah-Long.

I know that Ah-Na has good intention towards her family, but still I somehow hate the way she thinks. Her character bugs me because I feel like all she cares for is money. I can’t believe she left Ah-Long alone at the restaurant.

Oh I hate freaken Ah-Pong and his freaken gay lover! I can’t believe they dare to deceive Dala. OH poor Dala, she has not done anything wrong, she just wants to have a good and happy family, yet her husband is the worst of the worst. Once you turn gay, you’ll never go the other way!!!  At first I thought Ah-Pong really broke it off with his gay lover and I was starting to forgive him already, and Dala had already completely forgave him and gave him another chance, I can’t believe he went behind her back and used the same dull knife to stab her once more. I can’t believe he is using Dala and his two children as shield to cover up his gayness, dude, if you wanted to be with your gay lover so badly, why can’t you leave your family and come out of the damn closet. Oh, how I hate Ah-Pong so badly.

So Ah-Yong heard some harsh words her father had to say and decided to run away, just in time as our handsome p’ek notice something weird was going on and caught Ah-Yong trying to run away thus he decided to help Ah-Yong out by taking her to his canal house.

I love how Ah-Yong gave Ah-Tee’s father that harsh yet hart warming speech. Finally someone is able to tell Ah-Tee’s father how bad he is of stating which child is his favorite and which one is a jinx. I am glad that Ah-Tee’s father is starting to like Ah-Yong and even gave her some encouragement.

Episodes 11 and 12 looks very exciting. Ah-Yong is going to find out about Ah-Tee being a famous writer she also found out that her families opera house was a stepping stone for him. Aww poor Ah-Tee got caught by the person he loves. It looks so good and intense I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next and how Ah-Yong is going to find out about Ah-Tee being a writer.

Also in the preview for the next episodes it looks like Ah-Joo’s father is going to find out that the house they are staying at was in fact belongs to Ah-Joo. Ah-Joo’s father is going to raise hell thinking that Ah-Joo is doing illegal jobs. It looks very exciting.

I can’t believe this lakorn is finally coming to its end. Noooo, I am loving this lakorn so badly!! I don’t want it to end anytime soon. I want to see Ah-Yong and Ah-Tee more often. I could never get enough of Ah-Yong and Ah-Tee.
